We are seeking a reverse home sharing provider to support a 30-year-old woman in Vancouver.

Note: In reverse home sharing, the home sharing provider is required to live in the individual’s home.  

 

About the Individual

She enjoys restaurants, movies, concerts, shows, music, and spending time with friends. She attends weekday daytime programs, participates in Special Olympics, and likes dogs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily living support in a home setting

  • Support daily routines and help maintain a consistent schedule

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience supporting adults with disabilities
  • Experience supporting individuals with autism or intellectual disabilities
  • Experience with positive behaviour support
  • Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs

Reverse Home Sharing Living Cost

In reverse home sharing, the home sharing provider lives in the individual’s home and is responsible for their share of living costs.

  • Rent: $250 per month
  • Utilities: Split 50/50. Total monthly cost is approximately $65 to $150, depending on the season. The typical total is around $80 to $90.
