oPEN fUTURE LEARNING

Open Future Learning is here, offering flexible and engaging training designed for the disability sector.

Powered by The HSSSBC

HSSSBC is proud to offer free access to Open Future Learning, an online learning provider which is specifically designed for the disability sector.

Effective November 30, 2025, the administration of Open Future Learning (OFL)
will move from BC CEO Network to the Home Sharing Support Society BC (HSSSBC).

We would like to acknowledge and thank the BC CEO Network for stewarding this project, and their commitment to ensuring the home sharing community had access to high quality training specific to their role. Modules access will remain the same, and will continue to be at no cost for home sharing providers, supports to shared living (respite) providers, and person-centred societies.

There is no cost for OFL when accessed through the HSSSBC.

How to access OFL training

Open Future Learning is an online learning platform for all home sharing providers, respite providers, and agency home sharing coordinators.

It is available 24/7, 365 days a year.

It offers training created specifically for home sharing, along with many other useful modules.

Service Providers/Agencies (transferring)
  • Transition will be administered by the HSSSBC and will become your main point of contact for registration and administration after Nov. 30, 2025.
  • Each service provider/agency will need to identify a key OFL contact for their organization.
  • The key contact will be able to access information about training for their providers.
  • The HSSSBC will complete the administration and onboarding process for service providers/agencies.
  • Each email address is unique to the system and duplicates can not exist.  Contact OFL to have your email address removed prior to registration. (Email:hello@openfuturelearning.org)
