Executive Director

Trina Plamondon (she/her) is the Executive Director of the newly formed Home Sharing Support Society BC.

Trina has over 30 years experience in the disability sector. She is a proven leader in her field bringing fresh approaches to complex challenges.

She is an accomplished governance advisor specializing in policy & bylaw development, supporting organizations with business analysis, operational design and implementation of large scale projects. 

In her free time you will find her “among the vines” learning about wine. She is a proud BC Wine Ambassador and happily shares what she learns with family and friends over the kitchen table with food and wine.

Project Coordinator

Abdirahman Abdi is the Project Coordinator at HSSSBC, He strives to keep projects on track, within budget, and meeting their deadlines.

With a background in IT and computer science, he brings a unique blend of skills to the role. He plays a pivotal role in enhancing the company’s website, adding essential features, content, and aligning the company’s digital presence with project objectives. His background includes being a peer support worker and mentor for vulnerable adults living with mental health illnesses, providing support, coordinating support plans and ensuring quality of life.

Beyond work, he enjoys soccer/football, spending time with friends, and exploring new places.

Research Analyst

Shali Tayebi (she/her) is an Iranian-Canadian Research Analyst of HSSSBC with an B.A in Psychology and MSc. in Global Health. She has gained extensive research and publication experience from working in Psychology, Public Health, and Environmental Epidemiology labs. She strives to bridge the gap between academia and the real world, ensuring that research findings are relevant, accessible, and impactful for the communities they aim to serve.

In her free time, she loves to read fiction novels, attend live music events, and hang out with her friends. An avid backpacker and adventurer at heart, Shali seeks the thrill of discovering new cultures and faraway landscapes.
