The Canadian Accessibility Network is looking for standards developers to provide input that will contribute to the development of a policy toolkit and educational resource that will help make Canada more accessible and inclusive.
What is involved?
Participants will do a 2-hour (with a 15-minute break) online focus group (small group conversation) about the best ways for our team to create a toolkit and an educational resource that will promote neurodivergent considerations in standards development. Accommodations are available.
Who can participate?
To participate, you must be:
- Employed in a profession that involves developing standards in Canada; and
- Able to communicate in English, French, ASL, or LSQ, with or without support.
Adults who belong to other marginalized communities (for example, Indigenous, people of color, trans/non-binary, queer, non-speaking) are especially encouraged to participate.
Research participants will receive a $25 gift card for their participation in the study.
