HSP Awards 2025 | Long-Term Service Award Nomination

I, the undersigned, irrevocably grant my consent to being filmed, photographed, recorded and/or interviewed by the Home Sharing Support Society BC and/or its agents, representatives and contractors (“HSSSBC”) for the purpose of developing public awareness and marketing videos to be used by the home sharing community across the province of British Columbia.

This authorization gives the HSSSBC permission to use your image for the purpose of creating content to raise the profile of home sharing; including by way of digital videos, videotapes, articles, books and/or other digital or printed materials (“Media Materials”), wherein my name, likeness, image, voice, appearance, and/or performance may appear (“Images”) and/or wherein my personal experiences, remarks, and recollections may be included (“Narratives”).

I grant to the HSSSBC, without reimbursement or other consideration, the right to publish, display, perform, adapt, sell, distribute, sublicense, or otherwise use the Media Materials, worldwide, commercially or otherwise, in whole or in part, in connection with any product or service, in all markets, media, or technologies, now known or hereafter developed, including digital platforms such as Facebook, YouTube or Instagram. HSSSBC may use the Images and/or Narratives with or without my name, with or without a generic title or descriptor for me, at their sole discretion.

My consent can be revoked by notice to HSSSBC either by:
(a) Letter

If I revoke my consent, the HSSSBC will remove my images and narratives from the Media Materials.

I acknowledge that the HSSSBC owns the Media Materials, including all copyright therein and I hereby waive all moral rights that I may have in the Media Materials, including any right to inspect or approve the appearance or presentation of my images and/or narratives in any Media Materials. I hereby release and discharge HSSSBC, its officers, employees, affiliates, successors, agents, designees, and assigns from all liability or claim, known or unknown, arising out of the use of the Media Materials, the images, or the narratives, including without limitation any liability or claim arising out of any blurring, distortion, alteration, optical illusion, quotation, paraphrasing or use in composite form that may occur or be produced in the development or production of the Media Materials, or based on rights of publicity, appropriation of personality, invasion of privacy or other civil rights, moral rights, copyright infringement, defamation, libel or slander.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws applicable therein.
